Update: Composite Sketch Released in Real Estate Agent Robbery

Perpetrator reportedly attempted to sexually assault the victim before she was able to escape and flee.

Update: July 6, 2011, 10 a.m. The Cobb County Police Department has released a composite sketch of the perpetrator involved in last Friday's incident in the area of Cheyenne Drive.

The Cobb County Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance with information regarding an armed robbery and attempted sexual assault that reportedly occurred Thursday afternoon in the area of Cheyenne Drive in Smyrna.

According to the investigators, shortly before 4 p.m. a man entered the office of a newly opened developed subdivision, and after a brief conversation with a female real estate agent, produced a handgun and robbed the victim of her personal items.

He reportedly then forced her into a bathroom and attempted to sexually assault her. After a brief struggle, the woman was able to escape out a back door and flee.

Police describe the perpetrator as a black male in his late 20s or early 30s. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, dark pants and a white hat that was possibly a baseball style cap with a straight brim.
