Smyrna Sub Shop Robbed

South Cobb Drive Subway was reportedly robbed by two men Wednesday afternoon.

Cobb county police are searching for two men who allegedly robbed the on Wednesday afternoon. The store is located just south of Highlands Parkway.

According to the report, two armed men entered the store around 2:10 p.m. Wednesday. While one perpetrator stayed near the front of the store, the other jumped the counter and demanded money from the register and the safe.

The men left with an undisclosed amount of money and fled in an unknown direction. There were no injuries reported.

The first perpetrator is described as a black male, last seen wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and armed with a black hand gun. The other is described as a black male, last seen wearing a green jacket. It is not known if he was armed.

Anyone with information about it is asked to call Cobb County Police Department’s Robbery Squad at 770-499-3945.

This is Garrison Plantation - Garrison Lakes - Lakefront Vista. I lived there when it was familyRead More owned. It went from sister to brother then sold. Changed name from Garrison Plantation (because it wasn't PC) (but no one thought about what a garrison was) to Garrison Lakes (there's only one lake) to Lakefront Vista (under new ownership.) It's a dump now. The layout and size of the apts. are great. Even the location is great. Still know some people there. But it went downhill.

During the anti gay lifestyle debacle it gave out copies of the 10 Commandments. That anti gay resolution drafted by Gordon Wysong and enacted by the Cobb Co. Commissioners cost the county an Olympic venue. Whenever I hear about that church I think of the OM who called the church's prominent members The Marietta Mafia!

No wonder many young people, the vast majority of whom are or will be heterosexual find the church increasingly irrelevant in their lives with attitudes like this.
