SPSF Prepares For Third Annual Auction for Heroes Gala

Mix and mingle with city officials and Smyrna’s public safety heroes at the Smyrna Heroes Gala Sip and Social Wednesday, March 7 at 6 p.m. at .

The sip and social is the kickoff reception for the Third Annual Smyrna Auction for Heroes Gala. Last year’s sponsors will be recognized at the event. for the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation, a nonprofit with the primary goal of promoting and supporting the Smyrna Fire and Police Departments by raising funds for programs such as the  event. It also assists in funding public safety improvements, public service awards recognition and disaster recovery support.

SPSF is currently looking for sponsors for the 2012 Auction for Heroes Gala, which is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 8 at 7 p.m. at Taylor Brawner Hall. Karen Carter, a representative with SPSF said sponsors are needed to donate money for operating expenses, but that they’re also welcome to donate goods and services for the auction.
