This Week in Smyrna Crime: Dec. 21 - 27

As usual, the Smyrna Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Smyrna between Saturday, Dec. 21 and Friday, Dec. 27:

• On Dec. 21 at 12:00 p.m., a fraud (impersonation) was reported in the 100 block of Ennisbrook Drive.
• On Dec. 21 at 12:06 p.m., a larceny (other offenses) was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Dec. 21 at 4:45 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 2500 block of Cumberland Boulevard.
• On Dec. 21 at 6:52 p.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 2700 block of Knoll Road.
• On Dec. 21 at 11:04 p.m., a robbery (business, strongarm) was reported in the 2900 block of Atlanta Road.
• On Dec. 22 at 1:05 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2700 block of Spring Road.
• On Dec. 22 at 5:15 p.m., a shoplifting (misdemeanor) was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Dec. 22 at 8:00 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 700 block of Concord Road.
• On Dec. 22 at 8:00 p.m., a shoplifting (misdemeanor) was reported in the 2500 block of Cumberland Boulevard.
• On Dec. 22 at 8:00 p.m., a disorderly conduct was reported in the 2500 block of Cumberland Boulevard.
• On Dec. 22 at 9:45 p.m., a larceny (other) was reported in the 2500 block of Cobb Parkway.
• On Dec. 23 at 1:25 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2400 block of Cobb Parkway.
• On Dec. 24 at 11:52 a.m., a suspicious activity/person was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Dec. 26 at 12:00 a.m., a theft of truck/van/bus was reported in the 1600 block of Roswell St.
• On Dec. 26 at 12:00 p.m., a fraud (impersonation) was reported in the 1700 block of Napa Valley Court.
• On Dec. 26 at 5:45 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 2700 block of Cobb Parkway.
• On Dec. 26 at 8:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2900 block of Cumberland Boulevard.
• On Dec. 26 at 9:57 p.m., a robbery (business, strongarm) was reported in the 2500 block of South Cobb Drive.
