This Week in Smyrna Crime: Dec. 7 - 13

As usual, the Smyrna Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Smyrna between Saturday, Dec. 7 and Friday, Dec. 13:

• On Dec. 7 at 12:30 p.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 1200 block of Davis Road.
• On Dec. 7 at 12:45 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 2700 block of Old Concord Road.
• On Dec. 7 at 6:00 p.m., a theft of automobile was reported in the 1800 block of Teasley Drive.
• On Dec. 8 at 8:54 p.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 200 block of River Vista Drive.
• On Dec. 8 at 9:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1200 block of Poston Place.
• On Dec. 9 at 8:00 a.m., a wanted person was arrested in the 1300 block of Spruce Drive.
• On Dec. 9 at 8:00 a.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 1300 block of Spruce Drive.
• On Dec. 9 at 10:30 a.m., a theft of automobile was reported in the 2900 block of Lexington Trace Drive.
• On Dec. 9 at 2:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1600 block of Ivy Spring Drive.
• On Dec. 9 at 3:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2900 block of Lexington Trace Drive.
• On Dec. 9 at 7:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2700 block of Morris Circle.
• On Dec. 9 at 9:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2700 block of Morris Circle.
• On Dec. 9 at 8:50 p.m., a larceny (other) was reported in the 2500 block of Spring Road.
• On Dec. 9 at 9:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1400 block of Roswell Street.
• On Dec. 10 at 9:03 a.m., a theft of automobile was reported in the 2400 block of Ventura Place.
• On Dec. 10 at 9:59 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 400 block of Windy Hill Road.
• On Dec. 10 at 11:30 a.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 2400 block of Rolling View Drive.
• On Dec. 11 at 2:00 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 700 block of Concord Road.
• On Dec. 11 at 2:00 a.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 700 block of Concord Road.
• On Dec. 11 at 6:00 a.m., a burglary (no forced entry, residence) was reported in the 1300 block of Brookview Lane.
• On Dec. 11 at 7:15 a.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 2600 block of Atlanta Road.
• On Dec. 11 at 12:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2200 block of Dixie Avenue.
• On Dec. 11 at 12:00 p.m., a larceny (from mail) was reported in the 2200 block of Lake Park Drive.
• On Dec. 11 at 10:18 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2500 block of Spring Drive.
• On Dec. 12 at 7:54 a.m., a burglary (forced entry, non-residence) was reported in the 2300 block of Spring Road.
