This Week in Smyrna Crime: Jan. 11 - 17

As usual, the Smyrna Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Smyrna between Saturday, Jan. 11 and Friday, Jan. 17:

• On Jan. 11 at 2:26 a.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 1300 block of Lincoln Trace Circle.
• On Jan. 11 at 5:00 a.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 900 block of Windy Hill Road.
• On Jan. 11 at 4:21 p.m., a civil/business dispute was reported in the 700 block of Windy Hill Road.
• On Jan. 11 at 7:36 p.m., an aggravated assault/battery (gun) was reported in the 1500 block of Springleaf Cove.
• On Jan. 11 at 9:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1100 block of Drewsbury Court.
• On Jan. 11 at 11:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1100 block of Drewsbury Court.
• On Jan. 12 at 1:00 a.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 3300 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Jan. 12 at 6:30 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 600 block of Smyrna Hill Drive.
• On Jan. 12 at 8:00 p.m., a theft of automobile was reported in the 2600 block of Cumberland Boulevard.
• On Jan. 12 at 8:17 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Jan. 12 at 9:00 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 1000 block of Madison Lane.
• On Jan. 13 at 12:00 a.m., a fraud (illegal use of credit/financial transaction card) was reported in the 1000 block of Huntington Trace Drive.
• On Jan. 13 at 11:00 p.m., a theft of truck/van/bus was reported in the 900 block of Woodland Trace.
• On Jan. 14 at 1:05 a.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 9000 block of Cumberland Glen Lane.
• On Jan. 14 at 9:38 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 800 block of Windy Hill Road.
• On Jan. 14 at 12:00 p.m., a larceny (bicycle) was reported in the 900 block of Manor Drive.
• On Jan. 14 at 9:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1000 block of Westfield Trace.
• On Jan. 14 at 9:20 p.m., a theft of truck/van/bus was reported in the 500 block of Pat Mell Road.
• On Jan. 14 at 10:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1000 block of Westfield Trace.
• On Jan. 15 at 1:56 p.m., an obstruction of police (other) was reported in the 800 block of Powder Springs Street at the intersection of Eastfield Road.
• On Jan. 15 at 1:56 p.m., a criminal trespass was reported in the 800 block of Powder Springs Street at the intersection of Eastfield Road.
• On Jan. 15 at 5:42 p.m., a fraud (impersonation) was reported in the 1300 block of Vinings Parkway.
• On Jan. 15 at 11:02 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 2600 block of North Lincoln Trace Avenue.
• On Jan. 16 at 5:45 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the  2200 block of Lake Park Drive.
• On Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m., a burglary (forced entry-residence) was reported in the 2200 block of Old Spring Road.
