This Week in Smyrna Crime: Nov. 16 - 22

As usual, the Smyrna Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Smyrna between Saturday, Nov. 16 and Friday, Nov. 22:

• On Nov. 16 at 12:43 a.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 2200 block of Lake Park Drive.
• On Nov. 16 at 3:00 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 7500 block of Cumberland Glen Lane.
• On Nov. 16 at 9:49 p.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 2500 block of Galleria Lane.
• On Nov. 17 at 11:00 p.m., a shoplifting (misdemeanor) was reported in the 2500 block of Cobb Parkway.
• On Nov. 18 at 7:00 a.m., a burglary (no forced entry, residence) was reported in the 1000 block of Afton Way.
• On Nov. 18 at 7:26 a.m., a shoplifting (misdemeanor) was reported in the 2500 block of Cobb Parkway.
• On Nov. 18 at 9:42 a.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 900 block of Windy Hill Road.
• On Nov. 18 at 12:01 p.m., a shoplifting (misdemeanor) was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Nov. 18 at 1:29 p.m., a shoplifting (felony) was reported in the 3300 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Nov. 18 at 8:30 p.m., an automobile theft was reported in the 400 block of Hickory Acres Drive.
• On Nov. 19 at 4:10 p.m., a larceny (sudden snatching) was reported in the 2900 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Nov. 19 at 5:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1100 block of Cumberland Glen Lane.
• On Nov. 19 at 6:23 p.m., a larceny (parts from vehicle) was reported in the 2100 block of Wells Drive.
• On Nov. 20 at 5:00 a.m., a burglary (no forced entry, residence) was reported in the 4500 block of Cumberland Glen Lane.
• On Nov. 20 at 7:05 a.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 1400 block of Forest Drive.
• On Nov. 20 at 10:00 a.m, a burglary (no forced entry, residence) was reported in the 2300 block of Cobb Parkway.
• On Nov. 20 at 10:39 a.m., a fraud (illegal use of credit/financial transaction card) was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Nov. 20 at 11:27 a.m., a robbery (street, gun) was reported in the 900 block of Windy Hill Road.
• On Nov. 20 at 3:00 p.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 3200 block of Atlanta Road.
• On Nov. 20 at 4:30 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2300 block of Spring Road.
• On Nov. 20 at 6:25 p.m., cruelty towards child was reported in the 800 block of Galleria Lane.
• On Nov. 20 at 6:25 p.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 800 block of Galleria Lane.
• On Nov. 20 at 6:30 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2800 block of Spring Villa Lane.
• On Nov. 20 at 7:30 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2800 block of Spring Villa Lane.
• On Nov. 20 at 10:39 p.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 3500 block of Dunn Street.
• On Nov. 21 at 11:40 a.m., a shoplifting (misdemeanor) was reported in the 3000 block of Atlanta Road.
• On Nov. 21 at 12:13 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 600 block of Concord Road.
• On Nov 21 at 2:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1500 block of Springleaf Circle.
