Here are the latest crimes that have been reported to the Smyrna Police Department.

As usual, the Smyrna Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Smyrna between Saturday, Nov. 30 and Friday, Dec. 6:

  • On Nov. 30 at 1:29 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 100 block of Galleria Lane.
  • On Nov. 30 at 10:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1 block of Springhedge Court.
  • On Dec. 1 at 12:43 a.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 2600 block of Cumberland Boulevard.
  • On Dec. 1 at 1:00 a.m., a larceny (parts from vehicle) was reported in the 3100 block of Sports Avenue.
  • On Dec. 1 at 5:21 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2700 block of Stonecreek Road.
  • On Dec. 1 at 8:12 a.m., a theft of automobile was reported in the 2600 block of Devin Court.
  • On Dec. 1 at 8:12 a.m., a burglary (no forced entry, residence) was reported in the 2600 block of Devin Court.
  • On Dec. 1 at 9:22 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2200 block of Country Park Drive.
  • On Dec. 1 at 9:58 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1300 block of Marston Street.
  • On Dec. 1 at 10:09 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1300 block of Marston Street.
  • On Dec. 1 at 1 p.m., a counterfeiting (free text) was reported in the 2400 block of Cobb Parkway.
  • On Dec. 1 at 2:50 p.m., a larceny (other offenses) was reported in the 500 block of Pat Mell Road.
  • On Dec. 1 at 6:38 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 700 block of Timberland Street.
  • On Dec. 1 at 7:40 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2800 block of Stonecreek Road.
  • On Dec. 2 at 12:30 a.m., a shoplifting (misdemeanor) was reported in the 3000 block of Atlanta Road.
  • On Dec. 2 at 8:00 a.m., a burglary (no forced entry, residence) was reported in the 3400 block of Creatwood Trace.
  • On Dec. 2 at 12:37 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2500 block of South Cobb Drive.
  • On Dec. 2 at 2:00 p.m., a fraud (impersonation) was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive.
  • On Dec. 2 at 3:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2700 block of Parkwood Road.
  • On Dec. 2 at 6:40 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 3100 block of South Cobb Drive.
  • On Dec. 2 at 10:20 p.m., a robbery (business, strongarm) was reported in the 2300 block of South Cobb Drive.
  • On Dec. 3 at 10:15 a.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 2100 block of South Cobb Drive.
  • On Dec. 4 at 8:15 a.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 3400 block of Dunn Street.
  • On Dec. 4 at 10:50 a.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 900 block of Windy Hill Road.
  • On Dec. 4 at 1:38 p.m., a fraud (illegal use of credit/financial transaction card) was reported in the 3000 block of Atlanta Road.
  • On Dec. 5 at 7:25 a.m., a burglary (no forced entry, residence) was reported in the 3400 block of Ridgecrest Road.
  • On Dec. 5 at 8:30 a.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 5100 block of Afton Way.
  • On Dec. 6 at 12:38 a.m., a case in error was reported in the 2500 block of Gordon Circle.
