Here are the latest crimes reported to the Smyrna Police Department.

As usual, the Smyrna Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Smyrna between Saturday, Nov. 9 and Friday, Nov. 15:

  • On Nov. 9 at 3:58 p.m., a shoplifting (misdemeanor) was reported in the 2100 block of South Cobb Drive.
  • On Nov. 9 at 5:19 p.m., a criminal trespass was reported in the 2100 block of South Cobb Drive.
  • On Nov. 9 at 5:19 p.m., an obstruction of a law enforcement officer was reported in the 2100 block of South Cobb Drive.
  • On Nov. 9 at 9:30 p.m., a theft of truck/van/bus was reported in the 1900 block of Lincoln Trace Circle.
  • On Nov. 10 at 3:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 4200 block of Terrace Court.
  • On Nov. 10 at 3:15 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 1600 block of Spring Road.
  • On Nov. 10 at 6:00 p.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 5200 block of Ward Street.
  • On Nov. 10 at 6:00 p.m., a theft of automobile was reported in the 800 block of Flagler Circle.
  • On Nov. 10 at 6:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 800 block of Flagler Circle.
  • On Nov. 10 at 6:25 p.m., a cruelty towards child was reported in the 1100 block of Medlin Street.
  • On Nov. 10 at 8:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 400 block of Concord Lane.
  • On Nov. 10 at 8:30 p.m., a lost and found property was reported in the 2600 block of Atlanta Road.
  • On Nov. 10 at 8:30 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 100 block of Huntington Trace Drive.
  • On Nov. 11 at 7:00 a.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 200 block of Cumberland Glen Lane.
  • On Nov. 11 at 9:00 a.m., a fraud (illegal use of credit/financial transaction card) was reported in the 700 block of Madison Lane.
  • On Nov. 11 at 2:45 p.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 2800 block of Sherwood Road.
  • On Nov. 11 at 8:08 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2400 block of Cobb Parkway.
  • On Nov. 12 at 6:15 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive.
  • On Nov. 12 at 6:21 p.m., a robbery (street, strongarm) was reported in the 2400 block of Roswell Street.
  • On Nov. 12 at 6:48 p.m., a burglary (no forced entry, residence) was reported in the 7500 block of Cumberland Glen Lane.
  • On Nov. 12 at 7:17 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2500 block of Cumberland Boulevard.
  • On Nov. 12 at 8:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 400 block of Concord Lane.

  • On Nov. 13 at 5:34 p.m., a shoplifting (felony) was reported in the 2500 block of South Cobb Drive.
  • On Nov. 13 at 8;00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 3200 block of Whiteoak Circle.
  • On Nov. 14 at 12:00 p.m., a larceny (other) was reported in the 1500 block of Hawthorne Avenue.
