This Week in Smyrna Crime: Oct. 19 - 25

As usual, the Smyrna Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Smyrna between Saturday, Oct. 19 and Friday, Oct. 25:

• On Oct. 19 at 3:16 a.m., a larceny (sudden snatching) was reported in the 2800 block of Atlanta Road.
• On Oct. 19 at 6:45 a.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 4000 block of Hawthorne Circle.
• On Oct. 19 at 2:22 p.m., a burglary (no forced entry, residence) was reported in the 2500 block of Cumberland Boulevard.
• On Oct. 19 at 4:39 p.m., a robbery (street, gun) was reported in the 2600 block of Spring Road.
• On Oct. 20 at 2:51 p.m., a fraud (illegal use of credit/financial transaction card) was reported in the 1 block of Springhedge Court.
• On Oct. 21 at 12:15 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2200 block of Elizabeth Avenue.
• On Oct. 21 at 1:14 a.m., a theft of automobile was reported in the 1 block of Springhedge Court.
• On Oct. 21 at 3:02 a.m., an injured person was reported in the 300 block of Pat Mell Road.
• On Oct. 21 at 10:19 a.m., a larceny (other) was reported in the 2700 block of Spring Drive.
• On Oct. 21 at 11:30 a.m., a larceny (parts from vehicle) was reported in the 1200 block of Lincoln Trace Circle.
• On Oct. 21 at 7:39 p.m., lost and found property was reported in the 2400 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Oct. 22 at 12:08 a.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 2100 block of Woodlands Drive.
• On Oct. 22 at 12:32 a.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 400 block of Cumberland Square.
• On Oct. 22 at 8:00 p.m., a larceny (other offenses) was reported in the 2400 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Oct. 23 at 7:30 a.m., a burglary (no forced entry, residence) was reported in the 2300 block of Ventura Rpad.
• On Oct. 23 at 8:36 p.m, a robbery (street, gun) was reported in the 2900 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Oct. 24 at 12:00 a.m., a theft of truck/van/bus was reported in the 2400 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Oct. 24 at 11:00 a.m., a larceny (parts from vehicle) was reported in the 700 block of Smyrna Hill Drive.
• On Oct. 24 at 11:30 a.m., a larceny (from vehicle) was reported in the 6400 block of Powers Ferry Road.
• On Oct. 24 at 4:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 400 block of Auldon Court.
• On Oct. 25 at 12:00 a.m., a suspicious activity/person was reported in the 4000 block of Hawthorne Circle.
• On Oct. 25 at 12:00 p.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 1100 block of Falling Water Drive.
• On Oct. 25 at 9:00 p.m., a theft of truck/van/bus was reported in the 1000 block of Huntington Trace Drive.
