This Week in Smyrna Crime: Oct. 26 - Nov. 1

As usual, the Smyrna Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Smyrna between Saturday, Oct. 26 and Friday, Nov. 1:

• On Oct. 26 at 9:35 a.m., a larceny (other) was reported in the 1000 block of Oaks Parkway.
• On Oct. 26 at 2:16 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 1700 block of Napa Valley Court.
• On Oct. 26 at 7:48 p.m., a burglary (no forced entry, residence) was reported in the 2500 block of Cumberland Boulevard.
• On Oct. 26 at 7:48 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2500 block of Cumberland Boulevard.
• On Oct. 26 at 10:15 p.m., a robbery (other-motor vehicle hijacking, etc.) was reported in the 1 block of Lake Park Drive and Cobb Parkway.
• On Oct. 27 at 9:00 a.m., a larceny (from vehicle) was reported in the 5400 block of Interstate North Parkway.
• On Oct. 27 at 9:00 a.m., a larceny (from vehicle) was reported in the 5400 block of Interstate North Parkway.
• On Oct. 27 at 12:00 p.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 3100 block of Sports Avenue.
• On Oct. 27 at 12:00 p.m., a cruelty towards child was reported in the 3100 block of Sports Avenue.
• On Oct. 27 at 12:00 p.m., an aggravated assault/battery (other weapon) was reported in the 3100 block of Sports Avenue.
• On Oct. 27 at 3:00 p.m., a theft of automobile was reported in the 2100 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Oct. 28 at 8:00 a.m., a fraud (impersonation) was reported in the 2300 block of Cobb Parkway.
• On Oct. 28 at 9:17 a.m., a fraud (swindle) was reported in the 3000 block of Atlanta Road.
• On Oct. 28 at 11:30 a.m., a theft of truck/van/bus was reported in the 1700 block of Napa Valley Court.
• On Oct. 28 at 6:52 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 2500 block of Old Concord Road.
• On Oct. 28 at 6:54 p.m., a larceny (items from vehicle) was reported in the 2500 block of Spring Road.
• On Oct. 28 at 6:58 p.m., fraudulent activity was reported in the 2400 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Oct. 28 at 9:02 p.m., a robbery (street, gun) was reported in the 1000 block of Belmont Park Drive.
• On Oct. 28 at 11:00 p.m., a larceny (parts from vehicle) was reported in the 3300 block of Woodlands Drive.
• On Oct. 29 at 7:30 a.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 800 block of Windy Hill Road.
• On Oct. 29 at 12:00 p.m., a fraud (illegal use of credit/financial transaction card) was reported in the 2700 block of Carolyn Drive.
• On Oct. 29 at 6:00 p.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 600 block of Pat Mell Road.
• On Oct. 29 at 8:22 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 5200 block of Ward Street.
• On Oct. 30 at 9:39 a.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 1500 block of Hawthorne Avenue.
• On Oct. 30 at 9:39 a.m., a disorderly conduct was reported in the 1500 block of Hawthorne Avenue.
• On Oct. 30 at 9:42 a.m., a larceny (items from vehicle) was reported in the 1000 block of Hillsdale Street.
• On Oct. 30 at 2:38 p.m., a shoplifting (misdemeanor) was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Oct. 30 at 10:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2600 block of Cumberland Boulevard.
• On Oct. 31 at 12:08 a.m., a robbery (street, strongarm) was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Oct. 31 at 1:55 a.m., a larceny (items from vehicle) was reported in the 2400 block of Ventura Place.
• On Oct. 31 at 3:00 a.m., a larceny (items from vehicle) was reported in the 2700 block of Hammond Court.
• On Oct. 31 at 11:33 a.m., a fraud (worthless check) was reported in the 800 block of Concord Road.
• On Oct. 31 at 1:32 p.m., a forgery (check) was reported in the 2100 block of South Cobb Drive.
• On Oct. 31 at 7:33 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive.
