This Week in Smyrna Crime: Oct. 5 - 11

As usual, the Smyrna Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Smyrna between Saturday, Oct. 5 and Friday, Oct. 11:

• On Oct. 5 at 2:02 a.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 2800 block of Spring Hill Parkway Southeast.
• On Oct. 5 at 3:26 a.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 2600 block of Cumberland Boulevard Southeast.
• On Oct. 5 at 10:11 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 1100 block of Powder Springs Street Southeast.
• On Oct. 5 at 12:00 p.m., a fraud (impersonation) was reported in the 400 block of Woodlands Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 5 at 5:39 p.m., fraudulent activity was reported in the 1100 block of Powder Springs Street Southeast.
• On Oct. 5 at 7:00 p.m., a theft of truck/van/bus was reported in the 700 block of Concord Road Southeast.
• On Oct. 5 at 8:00 p.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 3400 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 5 at 8:00 p.m., cruelty towards child was reported in the 3400 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 5 at 8:44 p.m., a counterfeiting (free text) was reported in the 2400 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 5 at 11:27 p.m., a larceny (other offenses) was reported in the 2500 block of Cobb Parkway Southeast.
• On Oct. 6 at 1:00 a.m., a larceny (parts from vehicle) was reported in the 1 block of Fair Haven Way Southeast.
• On Oct. 6 at 5:47 p.m., cocaine possession was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 6 at 5:47 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 6 at 7:00 p.m., a larceny (parts from vehicle) was reported in the 1 block of Rumson Court Southeast.
• On Oct. 6 at 8:44 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2300 block of Spring Road Southeast.
• On Oct. 7 at 2:33 p.m., a shoplifting (misdemeanor) was reported in the 400 block of Concord Road Southeast.
• On Oct. 7 at 2:33 p.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 400 block of Concord Road Southeast.
• On Oct. 7 at 6:00 p.m., lost and found property was reported in the 200 block of Village Green Circle Southeast.
• On Oct. 8 at 12:29 a.m.,  robbery (street, gun) was reported in the 2500 block of North Lincoln Trace Avenue Southeast.
• On Oct. 8 at 1:45 p.m., a shoplifting (misdemeanor) was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 8 at 4:30 p.m., a theft of automobile was reported in the 200 block of Village Green Circle Southeast.
• On Oct. 8 at 4:30 p.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 200 block of Village Green Circle Southeast.
• On Oct. 8 at 8:00 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2000 block of Lake Park Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 8 at 8:50 p.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 2100 block of Wells Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 9 at 10:30 a.m., a burglary (forced entry, residence) was reported in the 400 block of Hickory Lane Southeast.
• On Oct. 9 at 11:33 a.m., a fraud (impersonation) was reported in the 2600 block of Atlanta Road Southeast.
• On Oct. 9 at 2:32 pm., a shoplifting (misdemeanor) was reported in the 2500 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 9 at 3:19 p.m., a robbery (street, strongarm) was reported in the 2600 block of Cobb Parkway Southeast.
• On Oct. 9 at 4:50 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported in the 1000 block of Church Street Southeast.
• On Oct. 9 at 7:49 p.m., a larceny (other offenses) was reported in the 2000 block of Dundee Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 9 at 7:49 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2000 block of Dundee Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 10 at 12:24 a.m., suspicious activity (person) was reported in the 2600 block of Cumberland Boulevard Southeast.
• On Oct. 10 at 6:17 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2400 block of Cobb Parkway Southeast.
• On Oct. 10 at 6:46 p.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2400 block of Cobb Parkway Southeast.
• On Oct. 10 at 8:00 p.m., a larceny (bicycle) was reported in the 800 block of Chrysler Avenue Southeast.
