This Week in Smyrna Crime: Sept. 14-20

Here are the latest crimes being investigated by the Smyrna Police Department.

As usual, the Smyrna Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Smyrna between Saturday, Sept. 14 and Friday, Sept. 20:

  • On Sept. 14 at 1:49 a.m., a burglary with forced entry was reported at a building in the 2400 block of Cobb Parkway Southeast.
  • On Sept. 14 at 8:00 a.m., a burglary without forced entry was reported at a building in the 2000 block of Dundee Drive Southeast.
  • On Sept. 14 at 12:00 p.m., a burglary with forced entry was reported at a residence in the 1800 block of Davie Circle Southeast.
  • On Sept. 14 at 12:33 p.m., an aggravated assault/battery was reported in the 2300 block of Spring Road Southeast.
  • On Sept. 14 at 1:57 p.m., a misdemeanor shoplifting was reported in the 2100 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
  • On Sept. 14 at 5:33 p.m., a counterfeiting was reported in the 2700 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
  • On Sept. 15 at 8:16 p.m., a burglary without forced entry was reported at a residence in the 2300 block of Louise Drive Southeast.
  • On Sept. 15 at 11:55 p.m., a bicycle was stolen from the 900 block of Brentwood Drive Southeast.
  • On Sept. 16 at 1:54 a.m., a burglary with forced entry was reported in the 2300 block of Belmont Circle Southeast.
  • On Sept. 16 at 8:00 a.m., a fraud (illegal use of credit card) was reported in the 800 block of Vinings Parkway Southeast.
  • On Sept. 16 at 1:17 p.m., items were stolen from a vehicle in the 3300 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
  • On Sept. 16 at 4:00 p.m., a larceny was reported in the 1200 block of Countryside Lane Southeast.
  • On Sept. 16 at 6:54 p.m., a family offense was reported in the 800 block of Concord Road Southeast.
  • On Sept. 17 at 2:45 p.m., a larceny was reported in the 2600 block of Atlanta Road Southeast.
  • On Sept. 17 at 5:00 p.m., items were stolen from a vehicle in the 3300 block of Fieldwood Drive Southeast.
  • O Sept. 17 at 5:01 p.m., items were stolen from a building in the 5200 block of Ward Street Southeast.
  • On Sept. 17 at 7:38 p.m., a misdemeanor shoplifting was reported in the 2500 block of Cobb Parkway Southeast.
  • On Sept. 17 at 8:00 p.m., a burglary without forced entry was reported at a residence in the 2000 block of South Lincoln Trace Avenue Southeast.
  • On Sept. 17 at 10:15 p.m., a larceny was reported at a building in the 2300 block of Cobb Parkway Southeast.
  • On Sept. 18 at 12:00 a.m., a fraud (swindle) was reported in the 1100 block of Concord Road Southeast.
  • On Sept. 18 at 12:01 a.m., items were stolen from a vehicle in the 1 block of Cumberland Gate Southeast.
  • On Sept. 18 at 12:30 p.m., a burglary with forced entry was reported at a residence in the 700 block of Kennesaw Drive Southeast.
  • On Sept. 18 at 1:00 p.m., a burglary with forced entry was reported at a residence in the 2000 block of Glenroy Drive Southeast.
  • On Sept. 18 at 3:00 p.m., a fraud (illegal use of credit card) was reported in the 2900 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
  • On Sept. 18 at 5:43 p.m., items were stolen from a vehicle in the 4100 block of Woodlands Drive Southeast.
  • On Sept. 18 at 9:15 p.m., a larceny was reported in the 1100 block of Oakview Drive Southeast.
  • On Sept. 18 at 10:00 p.m., an automobile was stolen from the 300 block of South Lincoln Trace Avenue Southeast.
  • On Sept. 19 at 12:00 p.m., a larceny was reported at a building in the 2500 block of Spring Road Southeast.
  • On Sept. 20 at 3:02 p.m., a mental case was reported in the 1500 block of Hawthorne Avenue Southeast.
