This Week in Smyrna Crime: Sept. 28 - Oct. 4

As usual, the Smyrna Police Department had a busy week fighting crime and keeping the residents of the city safe from criminals.

In order to help keep residents safe and raise awareness of local crime, the department has gone digital and lists the locations where crimes have been reported in their jurisdiction online.

According to CrimeReports.com, the following crimes took place in Smyrna between Saturday, Sept. 28 and Friday, Oct. 4:

• On Sept. 28 at 2:47 p.m., a misdemeanor shoplifting was reported in the 3200 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
• On Sept. 28 at 3:40 p.m., items were stolen from a vehicle in the 2700 block of Cumberland Boulevard Southeast.
• On Sept. 28 at 11:30 p.m., an automobile was stolen from the 2700 block of Spring Road Southeast.
• On Sept. 29 at 7:15 p.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 1600 block of Roswell Street Southeast.
• On Sept. 30 at 9:00 a.m., fraudulent activity was reported in the 3600 block of Westbrook Drive Southeast.
• On Sept. 30 at 4:45 p.m., a simple assault/battery was reported in the 500 block of Pineview Drive Southeast.
• On Sept. 30 at 6:00 p.m., a larceny was reported in the 1800 block of Teasley Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 1 at 2:36 a.m., a robbery with a gun was reported on the street in the 2600 block of Cumberland Boulevard Southeast.
• On Oct. 1 at 9:00 a.m., a fraud (impersonation) was reported in the 2500 block of Cumberland Boulevard Southeast.
• On Oct. 1 at 12:00 p.m., a burglary without forced entry was reported at a residence in the 2300 block of Oakwood Way Southeast.
• On Oct. 1 at 5:30 p.m., a fraud (illegal use of credit/financial transaction card) was reported in the 3000 block of Atlanta Road Southeast.
• On Oct. 1 at 9:18 p.m., a larceny (other) was reported in the 700 block of Smyrna Hill Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 1 at 9:18 p.m., a larceny (parts from vehicle) was reported in the 700 block of Smyrna Hill Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 1 at 11:00 p.m., a larceny (items from vehicle) was reported in the 1800 block of Cumberland Valley Place Southeast.
• On Oct. 1 at 11:53 p.m., a larceny (other) was reported in the 2700 block of Spring Road Southeast.
• On Oct. 2 at 6:00 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2600 block of Cobb Parkway Southeast.
• On Oct. 2 at 8:43 a.m., an automobile was stolen from the 9000 block of Cumberland Glen Lane Southeast.
• On Oct. 2 at 8:43 a.m., a simple assault/batter was reported in the 9000 block of Cumberland Glen Lane Southeast.
• On Oct. 2 at 8:43 a.m., a larceny (from building) was reported in the 9000 block of Cumberland Glen Lane Southeast.
• On Oct. 2 at 10:30 a.m., a burglary with forced entry was reported at a residence in the 9500 block of Cumberland Glen Lane Southeast.
• On Oct. 2 at 1:48 p.m., a misdemeanor shoplifting was reported in the 2100 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 2 at 6;00 p.m., an automobile was stolen from the 2500 block of Spring Road Southeast.
• On Oct. 2 at 8:00 p.m., a larceny (other) was reported in the 2200 block of Beech Valley Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 2 at 8:43 p.m., a larceny (items from vehicle) was reported in the 1200 block of Church Street Southeast.
• On Oct. 2 at 11:25 p.m., an automobile was stolen from the 2700 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 3 at 12:00 p.m., a burglary with forced entry was reported at a residence in the 600 block of Inglewood Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 3 at 4:35 p.m., a larceny (bicycle) was reported in the 2100 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 3 at 11:50 p.m., a larceny (sudden snatching) was reported in the 2100 block of South Cobb Drive Southeast.
• On Oct. 4 at 12:00 a.m., a forgery (check) was reported in the 2800 block of Atlanta Road Southeast.
• On Oct. 4 at 12:54 a.m., a larceny (articles from vehicle) was reported in the 2500 block of Old Concord Road Southeast.
• On Oct. 4 at 5:00 a.m., a burglary without forced entry was reported at a residence in the 5000 block of Hawthorne Court Southeast.
• On Oct. 4 at 10:45 a.m., a burglary with forced entry was reported at a residence in the 2700 block of Mildred Place Southeast.
• On Oct. 4 at 10:30 p.m., a larceny (other) was reported in the 1100 block of Oakview Drive Southeast.
