Two Arrests in Fatal Smyrna Stabbing

Deandre Demond Ramsey allegedly held male victim while Clarice Augustine Smith stabbed him to death.

Smyrna Police have arrested two suspects accused of the stabbing death of William Lamar Milton, age 47 of Smyrna.

Smyrna Police responded to a report of a man stabbed at 1817 Teasley Drive shortly before midnight on Monday, Sept. 26.

When they arrived at the scene, Milton was able to identify his acquaintance, Clarice Augustine Smith, age 32 of Smyrna, as the woman who stabbed him. Police later learned that Smith’s boyfriend Deandre Demond Ramsey, age 39 of Smyrna, held Milton down while she stabbed him.

The assault was the result of a personal dispute.

Smith and Ramsey have been charged with felony murder, malice murder and aggravated assault and are being held at the Cobb County Adult Detention Center.
