The women, from Austell and Smyrna, allegedly voided out restaurant transactions and stole the money involved.

Two women have been arrested after police say they each stole between $700 and $2,700 from the cash register at a popular Smyrna restaurant.

Stevie Lynn Williams of Austell and Allison Starr Cooper of Smyrna were arrested after both allegedly pocketed cash from the register at Howard's Delicatessen on Concord Road. According to a warrant obtained by the Marietta Daily Journai, the two women stole the money by voiding out food bills and pocketing the cash in the till.

Both women are being held on bond; Williams' bond is $1,000, while Cooper's bond is $5,000.
