VIDEO: Help Identify Smyrna Robbery Suspect

Smyrna police are looking for a suspect in the Jan. 23 armed robbery of two Subway restaurants.

Smyrna Police are asking citizens to help identify a suspect in the armed robbery of two Smyrna Subway restaurants on the night of Jan. 23.

Officers responded to the Subway restaurant located at 2550 Cobb Pkwy after receiving a report of an armed robbery. Approximately 20 minutes later, officers responded to a second armed robbery at the Subway restaurant located at 2517 Spring Rd, said Smyrna police spokesman Michael Smith.

Video evidence recovered from both stores confirmed that it is the same suspect in both incidents. Smith said it is possible the suspect walked from location to location since the stores are located wthin a short distance from each other.

Investigators said the suspect pulled out a handgun and demanded money from store employees, and left the stores on foot.

The suspect is described as a 6-foot-1 white male with a medium build, last seen wearing glasses and a black over gray Northface style jacket.
