A mentally ill man allegedly left a death threat on the work voicemail of a Life University faculty member.
Arya Tajbakhsh suffers from multiple acute mental illnesses and phobias, according to an arrest warrant.
the course of several days in late July and early this month, Tajbakhsh
allegedly left "rambling" voicemails about "conspiracies involving
faculty, staff, and students of Life University as well as various
domestic and foreign corporate and government entities."
voicemails and conversations did not have the desired effect and
response, Tajbakhsh allegedly threatened the faculty member.
did call said victim and did leave an irate, angry voicemail in which
said accused advised her to contact Marietta Police because 'I will
kill you.' "
Tajbakhsh was arrested Friday in Smyrna on a charge of terroristic threats. He was released the same day on $2,500 bond.
