Warrant: Man Attacked with Box Cutter in Smyrna

A Smyrna woman faces one count of aggravated battery in connection with the incident.

A Smyrna woman allegedly attacked a man with a box cutter at the Atlanta Bread Company on Wilson Way.

About 9:45 p.m. Aug. 6, Tanequa Shantiva Johnson and the man were engaged in an argument when Johnson cut the man on his right arm, according to an arrest warrant.

"As said victim attempted to prevent said accused from continuing her assault, she cut him again on the chest," according to the warrant. "After being separated from said victim, said accused did then charge at him again, enter a vehicle for the purpose of continuing her attack, and cut him on his right shoulder, causing a gash which required stitches."

Johnson was arrested Aug. 7 on a charge of aggravated battery. She was released from the Cobb County Adult Detention Center on Aug. 8 on $20,000 bond.
