Warrant: Smyrna Woman Kidnapped

A Griffin man is wanted in connection with the incident.

A Griffin man allegedly beat a woman at a Cobb Parkway apartment complex, forced her to get in her car and drove her to Spalding County.

Anthony Tyrone Holloway allegedly "struck the victim in the face with a closed fist once on the area of the victim's right eye causing the eye lid to swell shut and a slight cut above the eye, and once on the mouth causing the victim's lower lip to swell and split open," according to an arrest warrant.

The alleged incident occurred between 12:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m. Sunday at the woman's Wyndcliff Galleria apartment, according to the warrant.

After the beating, Holloway allegedly took the woman's cell phone and car keys, ordered her to get into her vehicle and drove her to Griffin against her will, according to the warrant.

Holloway is wanted on one count each of battery and kidnapping.
