Warrant: Treasurer Stole $6K from Campbell High School Football Booster Club

She faces one count of theft by taking.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of a former Campbell High School football booster club treasurer who allegedly used the group's card to purchase airline tickets, fast food and other items for herself.

Between July 3 and Nov. 28, 2012, Stephanie Lewis Ford allegedly spent $6,291.76 of the booster club's money on Delta Airlines tickets for herself and her two children, an Avis rental car, a storage unit and fast food, according to the warrant, which was issued Monday.

Some of the money also went to the "Boston University Dean of Students," according to the warrant. One of Ford's daughters attends Boston University, records show.

"Defendant was entrusted as a parent volunteer," according to the warrant. She "made purchases for her own personal gain and not for its intended purpose to support the Football Booster Club."

Ford faces one count of theft by taking.
