Woman Robbed, Killed in Doc's Parking Lot
The two men who allegedly robbed the woman left the scene in her car.
A woman was shot and killed during an armed robbery outside a popular Smyrna eatery early Monday morning.
According to FOX 5 Atlanta, Ebone Driskell and a friend were leaving Doc's Food & Spirits at around 1 a.m. Monday when they were accosted by a man who wanted some money.
A second man then entered the car Driskell was sitting in and tried to rob her. A struggle ensued, and Driskell was shot and killed. The team of robbers then took Driskell's car and fled the scene.
Police are now searching for Driskell's car, a silver 2003 four door Ford Taurus with Georgia license plate BYT0429. If you see this vehicle or know anything about the crime, please call 911.
