Advance Voting Begins Monday

Voters who can't make it to the polls on July 31 have several options to make sure their vote is counted.

Advance voting for the July 31 primary and non-partisan election began Monday. Additionally, a representative from the Cobb County Board of Elections said they’ve issued more 4,000 absentee ballots as of Friday, July 6. Of those ballots, 3,325 were Republican, 901 were Democrat and 288 were non-partisan.

Voters can apply for absentee ballots until July 27, though Beth Kish, registration manager at Cobb BOE, advised voters to apply by July 20 to allow time for delivery. Absentee ballots must be received by 7 p.m. July 31. Here’s a link to apply for a Cobb County Absentee Ballot

Voters can also vote in advance in person at the BOE main office at 736 Whitlock Avenue in Marietta Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through July 27 and Saturday, July 21 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
