Cobb County Government is seeking candidates for the following positions in its Public Safety Department.
Property/Evidence Control Tech
- Full-time position; 40 hours/week plus overtime and on call;
- Pays $15.16-23.49 per hour;
- Minimum requirements include:
- High school diploma, supplemented by two years experience in a law enforcement or judicial process agency;
- Experience in supply or inventory warehouse work; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience;
- Valid Driver's License.

Emergency Communication Operator
- Full-time position with 12-hour shifts;
- Pays $15.16-23.49 per hour;
- Minimum requirements include:
- Must take the Data Entry Exam online by Friday, Feb. 15;
- Pass an entry-level written test, which will be given on Tuesday, Feb. 26 (Testing space is limited and may fill up at any time);
- High school diploma or GED;
- U.S. citizen without felony convictions;
- Must successfully pass an extensive background check;
- Must be willing and able to work shifts.
