County Government Sells Surplus Vehicles Online
The Cobb County Purchasing Department uses eBay to auction off county vehicles that have no further use for the government.
Did you know that Cobb County has its own eBay account?
Posting under the username "cobbcountypurchasing," the government's purchasing department has been using the online auction house to sell its unwanted vehicles to the highest bidder since 2006.
Currently, the government is looking to offload a 2006 Ford Crown Victoria which has 174,481 miles on it.
Although this is the only vehicle up for auction at the current time, it may not be a bad idea to bookmark the purchasing department's eBay account homepage and check back in from time-to-time to see what other county vehicles can be had.
