Public Hearing for Proposed Urban Redevelopment Plan

As part of the regularly scheduled City Council meeting, a public hearing to discuss the proposed Urban Redevelopment Plan is scheduled.

The City is proposing that an Urban Redevelopment Plan, which paves the way for Smyrna to become eligible for an Opportunity Zone designation, be adopted by the City Council for the purpose of facilitation of job creation and redevelopment.  The Plan applies only to a designated portion of the City, generally defined as commercial properties in North Smyrna.
