Tuesday 

Got a name suggestion for the new Smyrna elementary school? The name selection committee wants to hear it at a at .  Speakers will have three to five minutes to explain why they support their proposed name. Those unable to attend the meeting can email suggestions to communications@cobbk12.org with “Smyrna Replacement School” in the headline. 

Also Tuesday night, the Vinings Mill West Homeowners Association will hold a neighborhood watch meeting at 7 p.m. in the Jonquil Room at the . Cobb County Public Information Officer Mike Bowman will lead the presentation.

Wednesday

The Coalition of Cobb County Business Associations and the Cobb Chamber have teamed up for the second year in a row for Summer J.A.M., a joint networking event of 11 Cobb business associations. The event takes place Wednesday, July 18 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the . General admission is $30 at the door. 

Thursday
