Update Smyrna 2013 Coming Next Week

The topics of discussion for the update session are still being worked on, a city spokesperson said.

A meeting that will allow residents of the City of Smyrna to learn about the progress of various developments around the city will be held next Wednesday.

Update Smyrna 2013 will be held at Smyrna City Hall on Nov. 20 from 6 to 8 p.m., according to the city's website. Persons unable to attend the meeting in person can watch it live as it happens on Charter Cable channel 19 or via the internet. Smyrna-Vinings Patch will provide a link to the city's stream.

Attendees of the session will be given a chance to submit their questions to city officials.

Although some of the details of the discussion are still being worked out, city spokeswoman Jennifer Bennett suggested that one of the topics that could be on the agenda could be the work on Concord Road.

Bennett told Patch that the final details of the meeting would be hammered out in the next week and posted on the city's website and social media accounts. Patch will provide this information once it becomes available.
