Will Garbage in Smyrna Get Picked Up on Good Friday?
The short answer is "Yes." Smyrna's sanitation/recycling schedule will remained unchanged during Friday's holiday.
While the City of Smyrna's administrative offices will be closed this Friday, April 18, 2014 in observance of Good Friday, sanitation and recycling services will run as usual.
Additionally, the library will be closed on Friday, April 18 and remain closed through Sunday, April 20.
The recycling center will be closed on Friday and reopen on Saturday, April 19.
Police & Fire services, obviously, remain operational. Any residents needing to dial 911 will be able to do so and be connected. Fire Administration and the Bureau of Fire Prevention offices will be closed, however.
