Outstanding Deed: Sreya came to Teasley Elementary this year from Trinity School. She jumped right in becoming involved in many of the activities that the school offers. One of those activities was the PTA Reflections contest. She wrote a story entitled "Together We Can Do Anything,'' and was awarded first prize in state level in the 4th grade literature division. She also won the spelling bee for Teasley and represented the school in the Cobb Spelling Bee. When Sreya is not writing, she is involved in soccer, piano, Sangeetham (Indian singing), and Kuchipudi (Indian dance). She is a well-rounded girl who has a thrill for learning and play. At Teasley, Sreya is involved in Treble Tones, Art Club, and Math and Science Club.

Key to Awesomeness: Sreya and her 14 year-old brother Arvind, live with their mother Radha Atmuri and father Paddy Atmuri in Smyrna. Sreya says that her key to awesomeness is finding humor in everything, and studying as well as practicing. Sreya says that in order to be successful and achieve you should always set goals.
