Administrators at Belmont Hills and Campbell High Reassigned, Resign

Two of the three administrators were reassigned within the district.

Smyrna schools will see several new faces at the start of the school year. Principal Terry Floyd and Assistant Principal Angela Crisler have been reassigned within the district while Campbell Assistant Principal Audra Saunders has resigned from her post.

Cobb County School Board members approved the reassignments at their recent meeting. Floyd will become the district’s director of intervention and support, curriculum, instruction and assessment. This news comes a month after the school board approved Belmont Hills Assistant Principal Stacey Abbot’s appointment as principal of Hollydale Elementary School in Marietta.

Down the street from Belmont Hills at Campbell High School, Crisler will be making a lateral move as assistant principal of Hightower Trail Middle School in Marietta. Assistant Principal Audra Saunders resigned from her post. At this posting, Smyrna-Vinings Patch could not reach Saunders to ask about her future plans.

At this time it’s not known who will fill the vacancies, but a Cobb County School Distirct representative said personnel updates will be presented at the July 11 school board work session.
