Directors Cup Recognizes Lovett, Whitefield, Campbell

Each year the Regions Bank Directors Cup is given to the top performing high school athletic department in each classification.

The Regions Bank Directors Cup is presented by the Georgia Athletic Directors Association to recognize the top athletic departments in the Georgia High School Association. Points are accumulated throughout each school year to determine the best programs in the state by classification, gender and region.

Points are tallied from each school’s top eight scoring sports among the 25 sanctioned GHSA sports in which each school participates. Each school that wins will receive a Regions Directors Cup trophy and wall banner.

The Lovett School again was one of the top Class AA schools as strong finishes in several spring sports allowed the Lions to capture second place in both the overall and boys' standings among 80 schools.
