How to Mediate Your Divorce

You've heard of divorce mediation or you've been ordered by a court to mediate your divorce:  What Does It Mean?

Mediators from One Mediation take the time to explain what mediation is (and what it isn't), how it works in the separation and divorce process, and how to prepare for your divorce mediation.  Whether you have legal representation or not, this seminar will assist you in understanding the process and how it serves many families in transition.

  • Did you know that you can mediate or arbitrate the terms of your divorce before you file a petition for divorce with a court?
  • Did you know that you can mediate a "separation agreement" to smooth out the transition through the divorce process?
  • Did you know that mediators can draft up your divorce agreement for you?
  • Did you know that you can mediate a divorce settlement agreement that contains a revocation clause so that couples with no or little legal representation have time to take the agreement to an attorney for review?

Ample time is provided for Q&A.  Instructors are attorney/mediators who handle family law matters.  Materials provided.
