Smyrna Mayor's Education Awards Given Monday Night
Dozens of outstanding members of Smyrna's education community will be honored for their commitment in the classroom or to help students succeed.

The Mayor's Education Awards will be held Monday, May 5 at Smyrna City Hall.
Mayor Max Bacon will present awards to students, staff, and volunteers from Smyrna's 15 elementary, middle, high, and specialist schools during a ceremony before Monday's city council meeting.
Twice each year, Mayor Bacon and members of council recognize those from Smyrna's education community with the Mayor's Education Awards.
Each school in the area nominated an outstanding student, a committed staff member, and a tireless volunteer(s).
