Please join "Angels Among Us Pet Rescue" this Saturday, April 7th, from 11:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m., at the PetSmart Perimeter store, for our Adoptions Event!

Come out and maybe....just maybe...find a new "best friend" to take home with you!  Many beautiful, loving, sweet, adorable, adoptable doggies in a variety of breeds and sizes will be present at the event.  We also have some of the cutest puppies ou'll find anywhere!

Each pet will have either their foster, handler and Angels volunteers available to answer questions you may have about any particular pets available for adoption.

You can actually meet our pets, touch, love and pet on them, receive lots of kisses and can take the time to get to know them up close.  Hopefully, one (or maybe more!) will be the one for you and your home!  They are friendly, loving, and so anxious to have a 2nd chance at a home and family to call their own for life!

Angels Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization  operating through the assistance of a dedicated network of volunteers and fosters who have a deep love for animals, and who work tirelessly to save them from death rows in high-kill shelters in Georgia.  All volunteers of AAUPR are unpaid, and all donations and adoption fees paid to our organization are tax-deductible.  Funds go directly to pay for the routine vetting, medical needs, and daily care of Angels' furry babies.

Please check us out and "Like" our Facebook page:  www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  You can follow us on Twitter: www.twitter.com/angelsrescue.

If you'd like to check out all of our wonderful "Adoptables", please go to our Angels website,  www.angelsrescue.org/adoptables-asp.  You can also see them at www.petfinder.com under the "Angels Rescue" organization name.

If you'd like further information on any of our dogs and cats up for adoption, or would like to arrange to meet any of them, please send an e-mail to Info@angelsrescue.org.

Are these the apartments that were once called "Garrison Plantation"?
Lissa K. June 15, 2013 at 09:32 pm
This is Garrison Plantation - Garrison Lakes - Lakefront Vista. I lived there when it was familyRead More owned. It went from sister to brother then sold. Changed name from Garrison Plantation (because it wasn't PC) (but no one thought about what a garrison was) to Garrison Lakes (there's only one lake) to Lakefront Vista (under new ownership.) It's a dump now. The layout and size of the apts. are great. Even the location is great. Still know some people there. But it went downhill.

I'd rather answer the question "How do you feel about Roswell Street Baptist Church?" MyRead More answer: can't stand it. This incident is just another in its long and bigoted history. During the anti gay lifestyle debacle it gave out copies of the 10 Commandments. That anti gay resolution drafted by Gordon Wysong and enacted by the Cobb Co. Commissioners cost the county an Olympic venue. Whenever I hear about that church I think of the OM who called the church's prominent members The Marietta Mafia!

Its sad, that young people who are gay and often struggle to accept themselves as they are, faceRead More such fury and rejection by a church that preaches love, compassion and forgiveness for most but not all. No wonder many young people, the vast majority of whom are or will be heterosexual find the church increasingly irrelevant in their lives with attitudes like this.
