Smyrna-Vinings Patch has compiled some tips for enjoying Smyrna Food Truck Tuesday and invites you to leave some of your own!

Most people agree that . Hundreds turned out to sample tasty eats from the likes of Happy Belly, Ibiza Bites and more. Patch compiled a list of tips for getting the most out of Smyrna Food Truck Tuesday.

Walk if you live nearby. Parking at Taylor Brawner Park is limited, so get some exercise before dinner by walking to the event.

Bring chairs. There is some seating at Taylor Brawner Park under the pavilion and at benches stationed along the walking trail, but bringing folding chairs or a picnic blanket from home is a good idea.

Pack bug spray. Mosquitoes are a fact of life for Smyrnans in the summer. Bring some bug spray so you’re the one eating and the bugs aren’t eating you.

Come early if you’re able. To avoid the lines try to get to the park right at 6 p.m. Although some people have said in comments left on this site that chatting with neighbors in line for dinner was part of what made the event so appealing.

Don’t be a litterbug. Leave the park like you found it. Trash and recycling bins are placed strategically throughout the park. Glass containers aren’t accepted in the recycling bins, so be like one food truck fan Jane Allen Shope who took her glass bottle home to her own bin.

Smyrna’s next at Taylor Brawner Park, 3180 Atlanta Road.
