Last Chance to Visit Santa, Christmas Services This Week

There are several Christmas events and closings happening in Smyrna and Vinings this week.

1. Get your wish list to Santa at Aunt Fanny's Cabin on Monday, Dec. 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. Santa has graciously allowed for last-minute visits from good boys and girls so they can get their wishes in on time.

2. Learn to sing Christmas carols at Tillman United Methodist Church on Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 6 p.m. Bring the whole family, even if you aren't a great singer.

3. Participate in a Christmas Eve family service at St. Benedict's Episcopal Church on Dec. 24 at 4 p.m. The church is also holding a service with Holy Eucharist at 8 p.m. and Midnight Mass.

4. City offices will be closed on noon on Dec. 24 and remain closed on Christmas. Fire suppression services and the police will remain on duty, but the records department will close on the 24th and 25.

5. Parks and recreation facilites will close on noon on Dec. 24 and remain closed on Christmas, as well. The Smyrna Community Center will remain closed from Dec. 24 to Jan. 2 except during the Radio Disney Noon Year’s Eve event on Dec 31.
