Budweiser Clydesdales Coming to Smyrna

The public is invited to meet and take pictures with the horses.

Members of one of the most iconic advertising campaigns in American history are coming to Smyrna this Friday.

The Budweiser Clydesdales will be at the new RaceTrac on Spring Road in Smyrna on Oct. 11 from 4 to 6 p.m. People will be able to take pictures with the famous horses, and visitors over the age of 21 will be given free samples of Budweiser.

The Clydesdales have been a part of American popular culture since 1933, when a team of horses carried the first case of post-Prohibition beer in a wagon from Anheuser-Busch's brewery in a triumphant parade in St. Louis.
