Smyrna Community Center Entertains Southern Mystery Fans

The day-long "Murder Goes South" festival will feature noted Southern mystery writers.

The Friends of the Smyrna Public Library is inviting lovers of the Southern mystery genre to attend "Murder Goes South - A Festival of Readers and Writers of the Southern Mystery," which will be held on Saturday, Jan. 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Smyrna Community Center.

The event will feature workshops, discussion sessions with modern mystery writers, lunch with a keynote speech by author Tamar Myers, a question and answer session, and a book signing.

Cost to attend the event is $30, which includes lunch.
