Smyrna Recycling Center is the city's main recycling center, located just off of South Cobb Drive. Some of the approved items it will accept include--newspapers, magazines, bulk mail, phone books, clean #1- and #2-marked plastic bottles, corrugated cardboard, scrap metal, aluminum cans, large appliances (check for fees), color-separated glass jars and bottles, automobile batteries, metal food cans, yard waste, cell phones and rechargeable batteries. American flags are also collected at the Recycling Center for a proper ceremonial disposal. Trash disposal is a service provided to Smyrna city residents only and ID must be provided.

- Parking: Free lot
- Services: The center will not accept styrofoam, pyrex or cooking glass, plate glass, window glass, mirrors, drinking glasses, ceramic cups, light bulbs, crystal, aerosol cans and paint.
