Safety Foundation Revs Up to Help Fallen Heroes
The Aug. 13 event will be the Smyrna Public Safety Foundation's first motorcycle ride fundraiser.
The Smyrna Public Safety Foundation’s first Standing Together Benevolent Motorcycle Ride and Raffle takes place Saturday, Aug. 13, to benefit public safety officers in need. The event was originally planned for May and included a classic car show, but had to be canceled due to severe weather. The rescheduled event includes a longer motorcycle ride and a raffle for prizes like a 2012 Harley Davidson Street Glide, a Glock pistol, a one-week vacation stay at a Panama City Beach condo and a Luminox Black Out watch like the kind worn by Navy SEALs.
