It's a lovely day to support the arts

Wednesday's weather looks to be near perfect, and from great food to good music, there's plenty to enjoy in Smyrna-Vinings.

On Wednesday night, South City Kitchen Vinings will host a special “Dine Out for Atlanta Ballet’s Wabi Sabi” evening during which they donate 20 percent of your check to help support this unique project. The Wednesday Night Wind Down

Provided you can make it through the workday, there's plenty of good reasons to kick back and celebrate making it through the midpoint of the week.

Don’t let mid-week blues get you down. Check out these musical events in our Patch that are sure to give you something to sing about. In light of a particularly wet summer, Canoe has extended its “Song of the South” concert series into July. Tonight’s outdoor performance by Sam Thacker will be the last of the summer concert series. Sip signature cocktails and local beer while munching on offerings from Canoe’s “River Snacks” menu while you enjoy the tunes. You can catch the music from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. There are not one, not two, but three open mic nights in our Patch tonight. Twisted Taco is hosting an open mic night as part of its monthly family night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Kids can enjoy rides on the Twisted Taco inflatable bull in …
