Carvel Ice Cream Closes
The South Cobb Drive franchise closed this month after eight years in business.
Smyrna’s Carvel Ice Cream shop has closed its doors. A representative from Carvel’s Atlanta headquarters confirmed that the franchisee closed the South Cobb Drive business earlier this month. An employee from the Atlanta Bread Company in the same shopping center said he’d seen people removing furniture and equipment from the building last week. Carvel’s media representative said the business opened in 2004, but could not comment as to why it closed.

I had the opposite reaction. The servers at Carvel were always very nice to me, but I was also friendly with most of the people who worked there over the years It may have been your attitude. As far as Sub Zero, they are rate a Zero for me in terms of product and cost. I have visited Yotopia (next to Twisted Taco) and while they may be grumpy, they have a better product.
