Concerned residents in the Smyrna-Vinings area have used local mapping tool SeeClickFix to point out problems in town and the surrounding area. The web application allows residents to report anything from potholes to noise violations and track the progress of items as road crews, police or other officials respond. It is also being used by government offices for notification of and response to non-emergency quality of life issues in various towns. Comment from the City of Smyrna: "The city does follow SeeClickFix and has been addressing items that get posted through the web/mobile application when any item falls within its jurisdiction.
