It's Christmas Day and there is much to be thankful for, indeed. It also let's us know that 2010 is almost in the books. And while there's been a recent economic uptick with rising home sales statistics and reports of positive holiday sales for retailers, Americans are still very much working and surviving in trying economic times. A new report this past week by the Working Poor Families Project indicated the standard of living for working Americans dropped again for the third straight year in 2010, and that the United States middle class continues to shrink.
