Smyrna Teacher Recognized Nationally
Robin Kish of St. Benedict's Episcopal Day School was named Outstanding Jump Rope for Heart Coordinator of the Year by the American Heart Association.
Robin Kish, a Physical Education teacher at St. Benedict’s Episcopal Day School, has been named the 2012 Outstanding Jump Rope for Heart Coordinator of the Year by the American Heart Association. Each year, the Jump Rope for Heart Coordinator Award honors individuals that have made significant contributions to the Jump Rope for Heart program. The award recipient is chosen from more than 40,000 participating schools. With the dedication, passion and leadership from Coach Kish and her team, the participating 143 St. Benedict's students earned $27,011.46 for the American Heart Association—more than double what the school earned in 2011.
