Campbell magnet program a strong draw
The application deadline for Campbell High School's Magnet/International Baccalaureate Program is next week
Last week, eighth graders interested in Campbell High School's Magnet/International Baccalaureate Program filled a school auditorium to learn more about the acclaimed program and its tough selection process. Coordinator Daniel Penick told the students and their parents the the IB program is more than just an advanced version of high school. "I often tell parents the IB/Magnet program is a broad foundation for university study,'' Penick explained. "But my hope is to develop great students who will have a great impact on humanity in shaping the next generation of the 21st century." Being accepted into the program is no small a task in itself.
