Are you settled in this weekend watching the British Open being staged from Royal St. George’s in Kent, England? You do know the Star and Stripes hasn’t won a golfing major in the last five tries and have claimed just five of the last 17 majors. Dustin Johnson, Lucus Glover and a few others from the good ole USA were in contention during Saturday’s third round play, so maybe America’s golfing major drought will come to a close this weekend. But we know Atlanta’s Matt Kuchar, currently the world’s No. 7-ranked player, won’t be hoisting the Claret Jug come Sunday. He missed the cut by eight shots and is now winless in 16 events in 2011. So maybe he needs a change of luck before the fourth and final major, the 93rd PGA Championship, commences…
