In that case, the city wouldn't be required to post minutes and agenda online. It…   more ›

Do not be tricked! When the government says it's seeking input regarding a decision making process it means the "powers that be" have already decided what they're going to do. The goal is to trick the populace into thinking they had substantive input regarding the decision making process ...that way the public will more easily go along with the program. That is right out of the lesson plan for a …   more ›

The Attorney General can enforce as well. I recommend contacting the AG instead since it's free for you, and it looks like AG will enforce. You probably need to tell the AG specifically how they aren't in compliance and offer evidence, and then I'd find out from the AG when to follow-up to find out if it has been remedied. Note that 24 hour notice is appropriate in some cases as well, for "…   more ›

Columbia Properties tabling at their request until April 1 makes me think that the council would have probably rejected the change request as it currently stands, which is a good thing because there is a lot of opposition to Columbia's proposed changes. In my opinion, Columbia are trying to cram a cookie-cutter car-centric suburban-style development into a key property, with absolutely no …   more ›
