Assistant Principals at Campbell High and Kings Springs Resign, Reassigned

Thank God that Witch with her whistle Crissler is gone from Campbell. She was ridiiculous. The most hated person on earth. Their are two reasons that the other two AP's at Campbell resigned ; 1) The Incompetant Affirmative Action Promotion of Dr.?? Denise Magee ( she is a joke). 2.) Savannah Tuschl: Whiz Kid and Future Restaurant Critic

One King Springs Elementary School fourth grader shares a restaurant review.

  Hello my name is Savannah and I am ten years old. While I ate at the restaurant Chin-Chin for Father's Day, I noticed that they keep their dining room extremely tidy. Also, I could smell a faint scent of food cooking in the kitchen. I ordered a delicious platter of fried rice, and General Tso Chicken dipped in thick, rich sauce. The rice was delicious and the General Tso Chicken was divine. Chin Chin deserves a total of 4.8 stars. It is located in the Cumberland area. But don't take my word for it. Try it yourself! Savannah Tuschl is a King Springs Elementary School fourth grader with a flare for food writing. Letter to the Editor: Smog Safety and Your Children

  When parents think about summertime in metro Atlanta, they probably picture relaxed evenings at the ball field, the laughter of children at neighborhood swimming pools, outdoor barbecues… Unfortunately for Atlanta parents, summertime also signals ozone season, when intense sunlight and heat converts a mixture of tailpipe and power plant emissions with other chemicals resulting in unhealthy smog. The realization that many kids are not getting enough time playing outdoors and growing awareness of childhood obesity has encouraged many parents to look for outdoor summer options for their kids, from park-based day camps to outdoor summer jobs. Young children playing at home are encouraged to “go play outside!” which a growing body of research…

Tee Off For Good Causes in Smyrna-Vinings

Ready, set, golf!

Fore! There’s an array of golf tournaments in the coming weeks some of which benefit good causes. The King Springs Elementary 5th Annual Golf Classic is Sunday, April 29 at Fox Creek Golf Club. The tournament is open to teams of up to four players. Proceeds from the tournament benefit the renovation of King Springs Elementary School’s blacktop. The registration fee is $100 per golfer and includes a goody bag, green fees, cart rental and a buffet following the tournament at Bella’s Pizzeria. Pre-registration forms can be dropped off at King Springs and checks can be made payable to King Springs Elementary PTA.
